False Hope

The blade shimmered as it fell. The crowd roared and cheered. Days became weeks. Weeks into a year. What started as a fight for equality had turned into a violent Reign of Terror. The people hadn’t known what the Revolution stood for. After all, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
